THERAPY OFFERING

THE WELL BEING HIVE HAS A WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE IN ALL ASPECTS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH

Psychological Wellbeing

Sometimes our health and psychological wellbeing can be compromised. At times we can be overwhelmed with depression and anxiety and tending to our psychological wellbeing can feel difficult. Talking therapy, enables individuals to move forward in every aspect of life. When it seems, we have too many problems to cope with as we move through possible personal, work or family difficulties, exploring the issues within a therapeutic relationship can create confidence, growth and personal development.

Relationships & Couples

As human beings we are relational creatures. Feeling connected to others and a sense of belonging is vital to survival. Loneliness and feeling isolated even within a partnership, can impact our emotional wellbeing. At times our relationships are often overwhelmed by life stressors and strains. Having a safe space as a couple or an individual to explore how we connect with others, via a relational model of support, can help individuals to explore the impact of this, both individually and thus within, the wider context of relationship.

Bereavement

Loss can be devastating,  any form of loss can be experienced as a bereavement. Death, loss of a relationship, expectations of ourselves and the world around us and thus missed opportunities, have the capacity to effect our psychological wellbeing. Having a contained and holding space that offers understanding and support can help individuals to move forward in their own time, thus processing grief organically.

LONG term HEALTH
CONDITION

Being diagnosed with a long-term health condition can radically change the way we live our lives. It can change the dynamic of our relationships and impact our careers. Conditions such as diabetes, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and epilepsy are just an example of such conditions. It can be difficult to consider our roles that may change from independent to dependency. We aim to give you the space to explore your feelings of loss, anger and sadness and help you think about the adjustments you may need to make, in order for you to live your life, to the fullness of you ability. We consider and encourage all aspects of self-care and wellbeing to be explored in the context of daily life and routine.

Fertility

Infertility is known to be one of the most distressing experiences for anyone wishing to start a family. It is often a shock, threatening the hopes and dreams of how you imagine your future. If this is happening to you, you may feel overwhelmed within your emotions and you may therefore struggle to adapt to daily life. Relatives, friends and colleagues may not be very understanding or realise how much grief you are feeling. Not everyone will appreciate that a miscarriage is a bereavement or that undergoing fertility treatments is stressful, offering hope and anxiety in equal measure.

HEALTH & Wellbeing

The Well Being Hive has a particular interest in how nutrition and pioneering research around the gut and brain reaction, impacts both our psychological health and wellbeing. We offer guidance and support with particular focus on the state of mind and how this informs our food choices. Emotions can alter your appetite and the way that you consume food, therefore a collective understanding of the relationship between food and feelings and how this presents in daily life can help you to manage both your psychological and physical health.

Supervision

Supervision provides a space which encourages therapist to explore the process of self-awareness whilst facilitating self-learning. Creating a space, that is both mindful of our clients but also allows for a creative venture where two or more, stretch their minds to consider new ways of thinking and feeling. It allows therapists to explore what may be going on below the surface of the therapeutic relationship and therefore what is implicit or unconscious. It can also help a therapist to consider the why and how feelings, through which, an understanding of possible misinterpretation via transference or counter- transference may be helpful.

Access therapy from anywhere in the world. We have helped clients from all over the United Kingdom and beyond, providing a hive of support worldwide.
